Prime Acrylic decorative panels are now marketed under the Ultraglaze brand. Both acrylic brands are owned by NZ Panels Group and have been made in their purpose-built clean room at their Auckland site for many years, using high quality acrylic from Senosan in Austria.
Prime Acrylic will be phased out as a brand in the market, mainly impacting designers and architects who will have Prime Acrylic sample folders. These will be rebranded and a guide as to what the colour translation is from Prime Acrylic to Ultraglaze will be added into the folders. The Prime Acrylic names also appear under the Ultraglaze name on the colours page of our website. All Prime Acrylic colours are available in the Ultraglaze range, along with two additional ones - a matt metallic called Nickel and a Soft Grey gloss acrylic.
Ultraglaze has more pressing options than Prime Acrylic, offering a premium face/standard back and a premium face/melamine back for a select range of colours for an even more cost-effective option.
Panel sizes offered are 2440 x 1220mm or 2750 x 1220mm - and panel thickness can be MDF MR in 16mm or MDF in 25mm or 30mm. 1mm laser or standard edging is available for all colours.
